Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about our truck beds, installation process, or customization options? You’re not alone. Here are answers to the most common questions we get from farmers, contractors, and truck owners across the Midwest.
What types of truck beds do you offer?
We offer custom and ready-to-install truck beds, including aluminum gooseneck service bodies, standard flatbeds, skirted beds with built-in toolboxes, and SBB beds with vertical and rear storage boxes. Most options are available in either steel or aluminum.
When you request a quote, we ask for your truck’s year, make, and model—as well as how you plan to use the bed. From there, we recommend the best fit and walk you through the options.
Yes, we handle installation in-house. Once your bed arrives, we pre-wire it and schedule your truck for install—typically within 1 to 2 weeks. The install itself takes about 18 hours, and most customers drop off one day and pick up the next.
Aluminum beds are lighter, rust-resistant, and longer-lasting—especially in areas where roads are treated with salt or chemicals. Steel beds are heavier and more budget-friendly. We’ll help you decide what’s best based on your truck and how you use it.
Absolutely. From strobe lights and tool drawers to accent paint and custom fabrication, we can tailor your bed to your specific workflow. If it doesn’t structurally compromise the build, we can likely fabricate it.
Lead times can vary depending on demand and manufacturer schedules. We try to keep beds on order to reduce wait times. Currently, custom beds may take until October, but we often have ready-to-install beds on hand for quicker turnaround.
